A Ray of Sunshine – Per Norrgren

In morning’s grace, the sun ascends on high,
Its golden rays a love note from the sky.
I let it in, this luminous embrace,
As sunlight kisses every contour of my face.

The warmth, a tender touch upon my heart,
A celestial nectar, in my veins impart.
My body filled with photons, light and free,
A radiant dance, the sun now lives in me.

In shadows long and nights devoid of sight,
I summon forth this internal reservoir of light.
The luminous feeling, always there to tap,
A solar glow, in darkness’ subtle trap.

Wherever I wander, this truth I carry forth,
That within me shines the light, setting my compass north.
