Poem – The Quiet Knowing
The Quiet Knowing
-by Per Norrgren
In the stillness, I find myself—
not as the world demands I be,
but as the soft breath of my own becoming.
Here, I am neither past nor future,
only the tender weight of now.
The pond reflects what I cannot yet say,
its surface a quiet witness to my truths.
The ripples whisper: This is you,
not the striving, nor the shadow,
but the steady presence beneath it all.
In the hush of togetherness,
I feel the current of being—
not yours, not mine, but ours,
woven in the quiet rhythm
that beats between hearts, between lives.
And as I sit, the mind softens,
the heart opens,
the endless doing dissolves
into the gentle ease of being.
Here, I am whole,
not because I am finished,
but because I am here,
alive in the pulse of what is,
connected to the vast stillness,
and at last,
at home.
