Self-Care #4 Nurturing Self-Care Poem
In the Quiet Hours
In the quiet hours,
when the world breathes softly,
and the shadows play
in the corners of the mind,
we find ourselves anew.
A cup of tea, steaming gently,
its warmth seeping into our bones,
a small ritual of solace,
a moment stolen from the rush
of days that slip through our fingers
like sand.
Here, in this stillness,
we are reminded of the vast landscapes within,
the untamed wilderness of our own hearts,
the delicate balance
between being and becoming.
Close your eyes,
and see yourself as you truly are,
a traveler on a journey not yet written,
a soul with stories unfolding in the silence.
Breathe in the peace that surrounds you,
let it fill your lungs,
let it flow through your veins,
a river of light that nourishes the spirit,
that whispers you are enough.
In the act of caring,
in the gentle touch of self-compassion,
we find the strength to face the world anew,
to step forward with grace and courage,
to honor the sacred within ourselves.
For in these quiet hours,
we remember that we are not alone,
that the universe itself sings a lullaby
to the weary traveler,
offering a sanctuary in the heart of the storm.
So take this moment,
hold it close,
a precious gem in the vastness of time,
and know that in the quiet hours,
you are whole,
you are held,
you are home.
