Are you ready to bring mindfulness into the heart of your daily life? Whether you’re completely new to mindfulness or have some experience, Mindfulness for Life offers practical tools to manage stress, enhance well-being, and cultivate a sense of flourishing. This course is your gateway to a healthier, more balanced, and deeply connected way of living.
What is Mindfulness for Life?
Developed by world-leading experts in mindfulness, the Oxford Mindfulness Centre (OMC), this course is an evolution of the original Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Finding Peace in a Friantic World programmes.
Mindfulness for Life combines the best of mindfulness practice and cognitive-behavioural science, and over eight weekly sessions, you’ll learn how to navigate life’s ups and downs with greater skill and ease. You will also discover how to savour the positive moments and realise your full potential.
Mindfulness for Life is designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re seeking tools to manage life’s challenges or looking to cultivate joy, gratitude, and wisdom in your daily experience.
How Does it Work?
This course blends mindfulness practices with cognitive-behavioural approaches to help you manage stress, improve emotional resilience, and build greater awareness. Through weekly 2-hour sessions and home practices of around 40 minutes a day, you’ll:
Learn mindfulness techniques to steady your mind and bring balance to your emotions.
Explore ways to respond skilfully to challenges rather than reacting automatically.
Develop tools to savour life’s positive moments and deepen your sense of gratitude.
Build a foundation for lasting well-being, even in the face of life’s difficulties.
When delivered live, the course includes a full day of guided practice to immerse yourself in the transformative power of mindfulness and take the learning into your every day life.
The Neuroscience – A Pathway to Flourishing
Science backs up what mindfulness practitioners have known for centuries: mindfulness changes the brain. Research shows that regular mindfulness practice strengthens your ability to focus, regulate emotions, and respond to life with greater clarity and compassion.
This course is not just about managing stress; it’s about flourishing. You’ll discover how to cultivate states of joy, equanimity, and wisdom – mental health is not just about the absence of struggle but about thriving in the midst of life’s challenges.
What You’ll Gain?
Practical tools to manage stress, handle difficulties, and regulate emotions.
Mindfulness practices to help you stay grounded and balanced in everyday life.
Skills to enhance positive emotions like gratitude, contentment, and optimism.
Deeper understanding of how your mind works and how to create lasting change.
