Poem – Silent Shore
Silent Shore
-by Per Norrgren
On the edge of the world where the salt meets the sky,
Wells next the Sea, where the seabirds cry,
I find myself in quiet, drawn by the pull
Of something ancient, something full.
The tides ebb softly, but within, they rise,
Whispers of truth beneath the still skies.
In the hush of these moments, I begin to see—
Not the world as it is, but the world in me.
Silent, we gather, a circle of souls,
Each breath a step towards making us whole.
Nature unfolds, patient and true,
Reflecting a mirror for me and for you.
We stand as one, but inside, we part—
Each on a journey, deep in the heart.
Through trees and wind, through sky and sea,
We discover the boundless, the quiet “me.”
Together we are, yet alone in our quest,
Finding stillness, and in stillness, rest.
The waves speak softly of all that’s been,
Of all we are, and all we’ve seen.
And when the sun sets on our final day,
It carries a message far and away—
That in silence, love’s voice can be heard,
In the quiet of self, without a word.
